Perfect service, open till late hours, wonderful mignon filet and cheese cake

Amazing place. The Bartenders go out of their way to shake your hand and get to know your name.

Food is terrible now since under new Corporate Management. Hamburger is dry and who wants waffle cut fries and a hard bun. Used to have fresh cut fries. They need to bring Pat Brennen back! But go to Bobby Van‘s at park and 46th and you will find Pat Brennen, Great food, great service, and wonderful friendly people that want you to come back. It is a fun place like Wollensky’s Grill used to be. After 25 years I will no longer be going to Wollensky’s. My new home in New York City is now Bobby Van’s and it is wonderful to see Pat Brennens smiling face!

They have the best dessert in town. Their coconut cake is delicious!

Underwhelmed. The bone-in rib steak was just okay. Disappointed, after all that I had heard about this restaurant.

If you're looking for a homie (a bit chatty) and some really good food and drink...this is the place will fill you up and make you happy:)

Late night visit on a Friday, seated at 11:30pm. Place was still pretty busy. I think the kitchen was in transition, the meat was slightly over cooked but not worth complaining to send it back. The food was still very tasty. Still a nice experience and satisfying.

Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had. Atmosphere was nice. Wait staff all help one another. Top notch. Thanks

Absolutely wonderful experience! My wife and I came here after getting married at city hall earlier that day. As soon as Rory, the manager, found out it was our wedding day he could not have made us feel more special. The staff were exemplary and the food was out of this world. A lunch to remember! We’ll be back soon

Always hit or miss for me. I've gotten really good steak here, but have also gotten fatty gristle pieces as well. The wait staff is prompt and professional and atmosphere is like a high class pub. Everything is great, out wish there was a little more consistency in the cuts of meat. Perhaps I need to stick to the filet.

I came in here for one drink and somehow saw the next day that my card had been charged $150. I understand that mistakes happen but because of this, I will not be coming back.

Hard for me to believe that this was my 1st visit to this location and I must say that they certainly lived up to their reputation and my expectations. 1st off it was great that they were open as late as they were. The staff was exceptional as was what we ordered. One of the best Cobb salads I've ever had.

best burger I've had in a long time

Been coming to the Wollensky Grill since I was a child, and still consider it the golden standard of cheese burgers. The mac and cheese, shrimp cocktail, and creamed spinach are amazing as well. Having the same wait staff for decades is a testament to its consistency, and quality of service.

I was expecting a different service for such a famous place. The waiter was the worst I have ever met. Wrong order and no care.

I love this place but they fired the manager and the new one sucks. Don’t know what his name is but he looks like a little rat! Not going get into specifics but this kid is terrible at his job. Still LOVE the crew (staff&bartenders) not sure this new kid is a good fit. As far as I’m concerned if I see this RAT at the door I’m on to the next spot. Old management never made you feel like a visitor. 3 stars bc of the amazing crew! The manager gets a zero!

Colorado rib eye was marvellous. Done black and blue, this place gives the best hard sear in NY. Great service with a typical NY flavour - expect a ribbing and attitude (in a good way). I had always been a patron of the main restaurant but ignored the Grill. My mistake - I now prefer eating here rather than the main room in S&W!

I visited Wollensky's Grill together with a friend and my son. I chose the Surf&Turf and didn't regret it. It was absolutely delicious!! The horseshoe sandwich and the lobster roll were very tasty and I would definitely recommend this dish! My son had a Cesar salad, which he really liked too, and my friend ate a sirloin steak with asparagus. The steaks at Wollensky's are always great anyway. Hope to be back soon!!

The service and food are always impeccable. It's a bit cramped and crowded but no real complaints.

They do simple things so well... an entree size green salad with perfectly crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, warm diced chicken, and homemade bleu cheese dressing... delicious.

Solid place. there used to be a really cool Asian waiter named Francis who was one of the best waiters ever.

Not a bar for a lady. I've been in here twice after work and was hit on by 3 married older men, one of whom took off his wedding ring. Bartenders are wonderful.

Great service and food

We reserved the wrong place, but they happened to have one hour before next reservation comes so they let us in. We ate fast and they served as fast as they can on a busy night too. Food standard still seem fair for the price range. Thank to the waiters for putting their neck on the line and not ruin our night, and also, sorry for delaying the next group for up to 5 minutes.

THE New York City institutional and most legendary steakhouse. Everything else is to be compared to Wollensky’s Grill. Perfect ribeye (cajun) and even better staff. Somehow gets better every time.

I’ll put this simple. If you want a great piece of steak 🥩 at 11pm on a Tuesday or any day during the week. This place is it! The staff to the actual food, is top notch!!I’ve eaten at all the top steakhouses in New York City, and I’ll put the grill against them all. I also say the grill is better than the main restaurant.

Same great food as always, with great service. As a restaurant owner, a weak area is allergy handling where questions should go to the kitchen and they should manage them better.

Loved this place. I went here on valentine's day with my parents and we had an awesome time. The bone-in ribeye with the wollenky's house red is a knockout combination. As a side get the mushrooms and tater tots and enjoy.

If you like Korean food, look no more. Head straight away to Mollensky's. Small place so if you are more than 4, you can reserve s table, otherwise you can be seated on a first go /first served basis.

The first steakhouse I've gone to in new york. Still tasty with a pleasant atmosphere. Food to dessert is great.The steaks are tender and flavorful. Definitely get the chocolate cake also. Yay!

If you come here frequently enough, you can get your name engraved on a brass plate for the wall!

Excellent service with an old-school vibe. Prime rib was fantastic with au jus I wanted to slurp off of my plate. The melon prosciutto salad was fresh, tasty, and perfectly paired with a tangy house-made dressing.

Best beef and lamb chops in NYC. Shellfish bouquet fantastic too!

What can I say? This restaurant hit all the high notes. Great service and atmosphere, amazing food, great people watching. I'm going back every time I'm in NYC.
